Wynonna Judd Sings Tearful Song For Baby Sister Ashley

Grab your tissues as you watch this emotional video of Wynonna Judd singing the tearful song, ‘Come Some Rainy Day,’ for her baby sister Ashley Judd.

“What good's a dollar without your baby sister, two scoops of ice cream
On a summer afternoon, we ran wild and all we ever wanted was to rule the world
Between our house and school, we move on and put those dreams away
Thinking that we'll find them come some rainy day”

This touching song was written by Billy Kirsch and Bat McGrath for Country sensation Wynonna Judd to sing. It was released in December 1997 as the second single from Wynonna’s album titled The Other Side. And Wynonna’s own little sister, actress Ashley Judd, is the one that the song was dedicated to.

“This next song is very dear to my heart, and I can’t sing it without the one who inspired it,” Wynonna says as she prepares to sing ‘Come Some Rainy Day.’ Then Ashley walks out on stage and the two sisters are holding hands until Wynonna puts her arms around Ashley as she sings the song that was made just for her.

As Wynonna beautifully sings the heartfelt lyrics, photos and videos of Wynonna and Ashley as children flash across the screen on stage. What a precious sight! With the sweet home videos playing in the background and the lovely lyrics, Wynonna Judd had the audience reaching for their tissues and giving her a standing ovation when she finished.

At the end of the song, Wynonna and Ashley Judd share a sweet embrace and a kiss. “I don’t care how rich and famous she gets, she’ll always be my little sister,” says the country singer.

The love between the two of them is so beautiful. There is nothing like the bond between sisters!
