Man Gives his Wife a Touching Birthday Gift Before Dying of Cancer

Kristian Anderson sadly died about 2 weeks ago, but this is the video birthday wish he left for his wife. It's very touching, and it even includes an intro by the New Zealand prime minister and Hugh Jackman. God bless him and keep his family in your prayers.

Yeah, I totally lost it watching this. Started to regain my composer and then their kids were on screen. So not only does his wife miss him, but they have two beautiful boys who miss and need their daddy. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. My heart is breaking and tears are still falling. :( Wow.

Wow....I want to do something like that for my husband sam. He is the epitome of a husband "in sickness, til death do us part..." I have cancer. Stage IV lung and liver bone and lymph ... I was given 4-6 weeks but God gave me a miracle. 2.5 years and running... Praise God

This touched me so much!! It made me cry but made me appreciate the LOVE GOD has for his children!! GOD knows what to do and when to do it!! None of us is immortal or immune to death or disease. Considering that the average age people died at a couple of hundreds of years ago were the early thirties, I think God has allowed us the science, nutrition, and society to live MUCH older, including an age this man may not seen without. God blessed this woman with children so that she might be reminded how much her husband loved her to devote his life to her and make with her the miracle of life, so that a part of them would continue on, even after death. The greatest thing that he left his children, even in death, is a faith in God that will see them through by living Christ's example, and that they will always have a father present guiding them in our God.

God Bless you Rachel for sharing such a sad moment with your husbands lovely gesture for your birthday, not knowing how long he had to live is heart wrenching when I saw that is was such a short time from when he made this birthday video for you. I woke up at 3am and just started praying to God pouring my heart out. As far as I know I am healthy, but I watched this video first thinking of you. As I continued to watch it and he said my name a few times and said "I love you". I thought for sure your husband or this video was nothing but angels. What an amazingly beautiful man, Rachel you are so blessed to have had a truly wonderful husband who was able to show you just how much he genuinely loves you. True love such as the love the two of you shared is a blessing and a miracle and so very rare. The gift that Kristian made for you will be a keepsake and a reminder of just how much love he has for you and how extraordinarily beautiful his heart and soul is. My Daddy was just stolen from me December 15, 2011 by cancer as well and I know how deeply it hurts to lose someone who you love so dearly, it is confusing and seems really cruel and unfair but God has special plans for all of us and the ones He decides to take from this life early are the ones that He needs most. I lost my partner 3 weeks ago through cancer, so it is hard to watch this video without getting emotional. I didn't get a video when my husband died at the age of 36 from cancer, but I did get the most wonderful, amazing letter that says pretty much the same thing. I know Rachel will cherish that video like I cherish my letter. I keep it in the front of my bible and had to laminate it so I wouldn't ruin it when I cried reading it for a wonderful love that was lost. My prayers are with Rachel and her boys.

The was so powerful especially because he didn't verbally express his feelings. When his boys came into the video I burst into tears they are so young and they will not be able to grow up with there daddy.

The love he had/has for his wife is AMAZING.
