Going to Heaven
Question: Going to Heaven
Alot of people I know tell me that they believe God loves us all and will not turn his back on us. They say this means He will not send anyone to Hell. They say if you are good God will not turn you away. They also think that after death we will all be called upon to explain our actions and we can then ask for forgiveness. I have tried to tell them that we must repent BEFORE we die and they say I am wrong. I tell them is what Romans 10:9 says and their answer is that man has changed the word of God over the years. How can I get through to them?

It is pointless to argue with people who will not see the truth. You cannot talk to a fool about his folly for it is right in his eyes. You know the truth so stay on the right path. Avoid those who will try to pitfall you...
heb 9.27 confirms what you are saying and the bible says. there is only one chance to be saved and it must happen before we die. john 3.3. god only asks that we believe and faith believes in what it cannot see. rom 8, heb 11.1 and verse 6. once we are in the spiritual dimension and presented before god, there wont be any faith required since our eyes will behold the king. isa 33, rev 4 and 5. the time to have pleased god by faith will have passed and therefore faiths opportunity for salvation as well. groundwire.net
Dan is correct. All you can do is to show them what God says about it, and then it is up to them to accept or reject it. Most will reject it because they love the sin too much.
AntiChrist says, “Sunday is our MARK of authority…the church is above the Bible.”- Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1, 1923
“the Mark of the Beast” is the enforcement of SUNday worship!
Vatican’s “New World Order”
“Sunday laws must be enforced”- quoted as “principles contained in the Constitution” of the original organization (then called the American Sabbath Union), cited in The Lord’s Day Alliance, twenty-fifth Report, page 5
Says Daniel 7:25, “he shall…think to change times and laws”
“The Bible says, Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says, No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep the first day of the week Sunday. And lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church!”- Father Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City, History of the Sabbath, p.802
“We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 364), transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”- The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50, 3rd edition
Whereas the Creator God says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”- Exodus 20:8 The LORD thy God blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. What God has blessed no man can reverse!(Numbers 23:20) Saturday is the 7th day Sabbath of that great God! The Sabbath is the Seal of God!
“But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”- Matthew 15:9
Sunday is the false day of worship!
Breaking the law of God is SIN(1 John 3:4) & the wages of SIN is DEATH! (Romans 6:23)
Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

A lot of people believe inn Santa Claus they are children.
People that are spiritual children also believe in many fables. God's word is truth. John 3:16 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
You get to heaven by believing in Christ's death and resurrection in your heart, nothing more, nothing less.
It is important that we not speculate on what God will or won't do. The answers to these types of questions have been given to us in His Word. We must pursue God Himself and seek to know Him. he reveals Himself through Hiw Word. In this specific areas it takes learning that God is a loving God but He is a just God. he also doesn't force Himself on anyone but desires all to know Him. Someone who has these questions may be missing the very basics of Christianity.
1st Peter 3:15 "Be ready always to give an answer to any man that asketh for the reason of hope that is within you..."
To do this we must study. What is the organization these people are in? Are they Jehovah Witnesses?
Yes, God can use us to witness to these people. We can win them for Christ. He loves them too. In order to win them, we must be ready to give those answers and to give those answers we must:
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth" 2Tim 2:15
This verse is telling us that we can find the truth wherever it be found. In order to find truth, we must mark out the untruth.
Remember the Berean's in Acts17:10-12.
v.11 They had received Paul's word with "all readiness of mind", they didn't just accept Paul's word, they heard him out, then,"searched the scriptures (The Old Testament)", to see "whether those things were so(true)."
v.12 Therefore (because of the research) many of them believed..."
Yes, the Bible is the Final Authority, but don't think that we are forbidden to look at secular work. In the books of History (Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Samuel, Kings, Ezra, Nehemiah, Ester), we find the Bible referencing us to the "chronicles of the kings" of Israel, Judah, Media and Persia (heathen nations). If we are told to reference the works from any heathen nation, are not their works wicked? The same thing goes for the unholy work (or books) of man. If we study the works of man (along side Scripture). It is easy to dismember it, because we know that all other ground is "sinking sand". So I suggest you pray about studying the organization that feeds these people. If God gives you the go ahead, do it. Also, if they are Jehovah Witnesses, I can help you. These people are very sincere in what they have been taught by man, but if we dig a little deeper in their organization we find nothing but the craftiness of man.
It is their "good words and fair speeches" that cause divisions amongst us. If we would just study man's opinion along side the Scriptures and "mark them which cause divisions", Lord willing we can witness to them too.
