Where in the bible does it talk about the coat of many colors?

  • Question: Where in the bible does it talk about the coat of many colors?

Answers to this Question

  • Genesis 37:3

  • AntiChrist says, “Sunday is our MARK of authority…the church is above the Bible.”- Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1, 1923
“the Mark of the Beast” is the enforcement of SUNday worship!
    Vatican’s “New World Order”
“Sunday laws must be enforced”- quoted as “principles contained in the Constitution” of the original organization (then called the American Sabbath Union), cited in The Lord’s Day Alliance, twenty-fifth Report, page 5

Says Daniel 7:25, “he shall…think to change times and laws”

“The Bible says, Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says, No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep the first day of the week Sunday. And lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church!”- Father Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City, History of the Sabbath, p.802

“We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 364), transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”- The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50, 3rd edition

Whereas the Creator God says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”- Exodus 20:8 The LORD thy God blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. What God has blessed no man can reverse!(Numbers 23:20) Saturday is the 7th day Sabbath of that great God! The Sabbath is the Seal of God!
“But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”- Matthew 15:9
Sunday is the false day of worship!
Breaking the law of God is SIN(1 John 3:4) & the wages of SIN is DEATH! (Romans 6:23)
Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

    God Bless.

  • to lastdays: Are you doing all the old commandments too, (not only worshipping sabath) which God gave to jews? Because if you fall in 1 commandement you fall in all! I just wonder if you are killing lamb like sacrifice to your sin like God commandent to jews in Old testament or are you received Jesus sacrifice for sins of the world?

  • Lastdays, Vierocka is right.

If you even "kindle a fire" (today if you turn on a light switch) on Saturday you are breaking the Sabbath. And what are the people to do in the North countries like Canada, Greenland, etc... or the South...?

According to the Bible, the Sabbath begins sundown Friday evening, then ends sundown Saturday evening.

In the North and South poles how are people to know when to begin and end the Sabbath when the sun go down for months?

Also, your information is in error. Justin Martyr wrote in 150 AD. He mentions the FIRST DAY. He says that Paul was doing this too. If you don't believe this, let me know and I can quote his works.

Yes, you are right about the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. There will always be men striving for power and using lies to advance their progress. The Romans began the church for power and would do anything to keep control. But this doesn't mean the Romans began worship on Sunday. As a matter of reasoning, it makes more sense that the Romans would choose Sunday, the day already chosen to worship God. At this point of time in history the Romans tried to regain control by blending in, not changing the day (The wolf in sheep's clothing).

Also, the Bible speaks of the offerings to the church on the first day. The FIRST DAY represents the RESURRECTION (Matt. 28 & Mark 16:9) of Christ, The new and better covenant (read Hebrews 8 & 9).

Acts 20:7 "And UPON the FIRST DAY of the week when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them..."

1 Corinth 16:2 "Upon the FIRST DAY of the week, let every one of you lay in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come."

At first, the early Jewish Christians continued to meet with the other Jews in the synagogues on the seventh day of the week. They later supplemented this by a separate meeting by themselves on the FIRST DAY of the week. The last reference to this practice was Acts 19:8, when Paul was finally forced to move this synagogue next door to the school of 'Tyrannus' where he preached everyday. Eventually, as they were put out of the synagogues, they continued with their own meetings on the FIRST DAY of the week. However, as the first day would normally be a workday, they would probably have to wait until evening to do so. This would explain why Paul was preaching until midnight and why 'Eutchus' fell asleep (Acts 20:9).

By worshiping and resting on that day, the Christians were still keeping the Sabbath ("sabbath" means "rest"), also honoring the Lord Jesus, who rose from the dead on the FIRST DAY of the week. HE IS BOTH CREATOR and REDEEMER, and now that HE has completed HIS great WORKS, it is appropriate that we remember BOTH together this way( John 1:1-14 & 19:30).

  • The Sacrificial systems or "ordinances" are over. Paul put that very correctly.
The 10 commandments by the way were from the beginning. Before the Lord spoke "thou shalt not kill" the Commandment of not killing was way before, or else Cain would not have sinned when he killed his brother Abel. Because sin is the transgression of the law as John puts is in 1 John 3:4
