From protecting innocent civilians to playing with children in the streets, our soldiers have shown time and time again that mankind is still GOOD. Even with the threat of war and violence, these kind soldiers were able to find it in their heart to do something good for the people around them.
This isn't about politics or foreign policy - it's about loving our brother's and sisters, no matter where we are or what we are doing.
These heartwarming images should stay with you for the rest of your life. It's easy to get wrapped up in every day life and become worried about things that maybe aren't that important. Jobs, friends, fights... all of these things seem so little and silly if you think about what some people are going through, half-way around the world.
Let's take a moment to pray for all of the men and women in the military who risk their lives every day, trying to do the RIGHT thing. Let us also keep in mind the poor people in the countries who might need protecting. May the Lord watch over all of them!
