Declan spent 65 weeks in the hospital after going into cardiac arrest from a condition called Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. This incident left Declan confined to a wheelchair and he is unable to eat, speak, see or move. However, Declan still has perfect hearing and full mental understanding. Today, his brother Mark McMullan, stood up in Declan's local bar and sang "Bring Him Home" right in front of Declan. What a powerful moment!
