Learning an important lesson about brotherly love is as simple as seeing how this kitten and puppy interact. Buttons the Jack Russell and Kitty the kitten are both residents at the Battersea Cats and Dogs Home in London.
Buttons was the runt of the litter and was rejected by her mother. Kitty was brought in off of the streets. Separate, they were alone in this world.
But together, they became a family.
Most dogs and cats wouldn't think to become so close, but these two gave each other love.
Animals don't discriminate like we do. They didn't learn to be superficial or selfish.
Instead, they show TRUE brotherly love. Buttons doesn't care that Kitty isn't just like her.
And she loves her all the same.

Life can be a struggle... so let those around you help lift you up. Don't take your loved ones for granted. No one is forcing them to love you.
Instead, embrace them and their love, no matter what differences you have.
God created us in His image... all of us. So don't push someone away just because they aren't just like you.
In fact, life can be fun when you let people in who are different!
It's better to love than to hate.
So spread the love of God that is in your heart today. He wants us to love each other, protect each other and live Godly, Christian lives. What better way to do that than to embrace those around you?
