Les and Helen Brown were a husband and wife who were born on the same day. It seemed as if God brought these two together! When they met as teens, their parents disapproved of the match, but that didn't stop them from embracing true love.
They eloped and eventually spent 75 years together. Then, when they passed away, they only died one day apart.
Helen died on July 16 and Les died on July 17, according to their son. However, the timing was a surprise to no one.
"My mom often said she didn't want to see my father die, and he didn't want to live without her." The two were so deeply in love, life without the other seemed impossible to bear.
Helen passed away from battling stomach cancer and Les was suffering from Parkinson's disease. In the end, they had all that mattered: each other and their family. Life without our loved ones barely seems like life at all. God wants us to love one another; let us pray for those we love and may God always watch over them.
