What Would You Do is a hidden camera show that puts ordinary people in difficult situations to see how they'll handle it. In this episode of WWYD, the show highlights the struggles that some foster children face.
We've heard some foster parents take advantage of the foster care system and the monetary benefits that come with it. On the show cameras were set up at a local ice cream shop and an actress pretended to favor her biological son over her foster child. This included not allowing her pretend foster child to have dessert and threatening to take her back where she came from. Kid strangers in the restaurant decided to intervene and stand up for the little girl.
This is such a sensitive issue that goes unnoticed more times than not. I'm so glad WWYD brought this to light. What do you think you would have done?
