One of my favorite things in the world is finding out that extraordinary talent is inside of ordinary people. And lucky for me that is the premise behind the show the Voice. Judges sit with their backs to contestants who are given about 2 minutes to show the judges what God gave them.

If the judges like what they hear they turn their chair around and get to work with the person auditioning. When Benedikt Köstler got a chance to audition for the Voice he jumped at the opportunity.

Benedikt has an incredible voice and chances don't come around like this often. So he picked the song he thought showcased his voice the very best. There's nothing like hearing a classic Elvis Presley song. And when you hear young Benedikt sing 'Always On My Mind' you will be in awe.

His voice has such an old school feel that this audition will take you way back! There is no wonder he seriously impressed the judges when he started to audition with this classic. From the very first note, you can see the look of surprise on their faces.

It was only a matter of time before the judges started pressing their buttons and turning around. And it is no surprise that they all turned around for a chance to work with Benedikt. I definitely didn't see that huge voice coming out of this young man but he absolutely gave that performance his all.

What a great audition. I don't know what I loved more, his voice, or the look on his family's face when that first chair turned. What an incredible talent and he certainly has the support to help him achieve his dreams. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next! What song would you sing if you had one chance to change your life?

When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in late August, Doris' home took in two feet of water. The elderly woman remained in her home for three days as the water rose, paralyzed by fear.

“I don’t know if I was so frightened, from all this going on, I really could not move,” she recalled.

Doris' grandchildren were worried sick, but couldn't get to her themselves. They turned to social media for help. Thankfully, they learned a kind neighbor rescued their grandmother and took her to the hospital for care.

Chip And Joanna Gaines Showed Up To Help

Like so many, the flooding ravaged Doris' home. But tears welled up in her eyes as she watched roughly 60 ExxonMobil volunteers arrive to help rebuild her home. And along with the crowd of Good Samaritans, Chip and Joanna Gaines showed up to help!

The sweet lady was blown away by the flood of support, and the surprise visit from two of reality television's biggest stars.

The down-to-earth celebs shared a hug with the 81-year-old, then went to work with the rest of the volunteers to fix Doris' home. And the woman who relies on a wheelchair and sometimes a cane to get around can't thank everyone who's helping enough. She says she'd never be able to any of this on her own.

Of course, lovebirds Chip and Joanna couldn't be happier to be a part of the project.

"For us, finally getting to be here -- feet, hands on the ground -- it's a huge honor. We're excited to get after it," Joanna said.
